עשה תורתך קבע – אמור מעט ועשה הרבה

– Psalm 92

Psalm 92

It feels good to say thanks
Humming your name
For your love, awaited at sunset
Arrives every dawning

Your creation has mde me happy
In doing your work
It grows on me
As I think of you

Senseless men cannot notice
Self concerned do not care

Though ‘rip-off’ and ‘hassle’ are king
And ‘possess’ is the word of the day
They will pass because you are here
For the anti-gods, Lord
For the anti-gods
Are lost in their own confusion

You lift me up
And wash me clean
Clear eyed
I can face my blues
While hearing you say.

The righous shall grow like trees
Lasting as long as redwoods
“Planted by God’s house
they bloom on his lawn
When they are old
They know they are still fresh”
They say that God is straight
And the fault is not with him.
